Parents, do you worry about what your kids are watching online?

I do. Everyday.

Hi. I'm Chee How, a father of 3 young children.

I'm building SafeForKids (SFK) to create a hygienic digital environment for children, starting with YouTube.

YouTube is a treasure trove of fun and educational videos; BUT it is also filled with junk, misleading content, and even harmful material.

We can need to do better.

SFK will be a free service dedicated to solving this - filtering out "video slop," leaving only high-quality, fun/educational videos for the kids.

Our children's minds are too precious to be lost to algorithms designed to monetize their attention. They deserve a space where their curiosity is nurtured, not exploited.

To bring this service to life, I need your voice. Well, to be clear, 100 email addresses. It isn't just a number for me - it's a powerful statement demonstrating the need for a solution.

SFK will always be free for everyone. Our vision is to be a trusted digital haven that parents feel safe sharing with their kids.

I hope you can join me in creating this safer digital world for our children.

Sincerely,
CH with his kids 👉

Better screen time starts with better curation.

We don't just block the bad stuff. We prioritize the high-quality, soulful content that makes childhood magical.
Smart Hybrid Curation
We use advanced AI to scan for patterns and human moderators to verify the vibe. It's the best of both worlds.
Zero 'Slop' Zone
Say goodbye to repetitive AI-generated junk and low-effort loops that offer zero value to kids.
Pure Entertainment
From hilarious cartoons to exciting adventures, we curate content that is actually fun to watch.
Hidden Learning
We also sneak in high-quality STEAM and educational gems that spark real curiosity.

Wait… what exactly is "Slop"?

Slop is the "junk food" of the digital world. It's low-quality, mindless content created solely for clicks, not for kids.
AI-Generated Chaos
Weird, repetitive animations with poor quality audio that make no sense, often created entirely by mindless algorithms.
Clickbait Loops
Videos that use catchy tunes and fast cuts to keep kids in a trance without actually telling a story or being fun.
The "Uncanny Valley"
Unsettling knock-off characters and "surprising" thumbnails that lead to strange, off-brand, and confusing content.
How we filter the fluff
We use a hybrid approach. An AI system identifies common slop patterns and flags videos out that way. Where the AI is not confident in its tagging, a human curator steps in to do a "vibe check" to ensure that the video is actually entertaining or educational.
✅ Coherent storytelling
✅ Proper dialogue
✅ Educational content

Video platforms are broken.

Mainstream apps care about “watch time,” not your child. They push anything that keeps eyes glued to the screen, even if it's weird or wasteful.

The Old Way

  • Mindless unboxing loops
  • Scary characters in "kids" videos
  • Endless autoplay addiction
  • AI-generated visual junk

Yes! You can always watch our collection of YouTube videos for free. No child should be stuck with slop.

Wait, no learning?

We have TONS of learning! We curate quality educational and fun content.

How do you curate?

Through a combination of artificial intelligence and eye-power, we only show quality videos suitable for kids.
